Founder Profile

Profile

Mira Yoo is a U.S. attorney admitted in the District of Columbia and a Korean-licensed Administrative Agent and Certified Translator. She personally handles the movement of people, businesses, assets and documents between Korea and the United States, from first review to final execution.

After graduating from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Ms. Yoo joined the human resources team at Honeywell Korea Inc., where she took part in collective bargaining and labor mediation and advised executives unfamiliar with Korean labor law. That work led her to the law. She pursued J.D. studies at Thomas M. Cooley Law School, earning top honors in Contracts. At Magnum Semiconductor Korea Inc., she resolved a shipping-accident dispute through contract review and multi-party negotiation, avoiding any financial loss to the company.

After gaining experience at law firms in the U.S. and Korea in real estate transactions, immigration and international contract drafting, she has handled cross-border matters for both companies and individuals. Her work has included U.S. entity formation, expatriate visas and HR consulting for an affiliate of a major Korean conglomerate, and the translation and review of contracts for a global restaurant franchise and a leading Korean food company.

PATH is registered with Korea’s Ministry of Justice as an immigration agency.

Professional Collaboration

Mira Yoo draws on her qualifications as a U.S. attorney and a Korean-licensed administrative and translation agent to review and handle matters within her professional scope. Where a matter calls for additional expertise, she brings in Korean attorneys, tax accountants and judicial scriveners, or U.S. CPAs and attorneys licensed in the relevant state, coordinating their involvement according to the circumstances and jurisdiction of each case.
